How to wear a pashmina with a dress

Wearing pashmina brings some variety to your appearance. The clothing is a great match with your evening outfit. Pashmina is a synonym of the word the cashmere. Cashmere is a term used by European colonists to refer to a special type of fabric. Many people mixed pashmina and cashmere together. They believe both words refer to the same fabric. But there is a difference between pashmina cashmere. In this post, we will discuss how to wear pashmina with a dress and what are the difference between pashmina and cashmere.

While wearing a pashmina, make sure that the color of your pashmina is dissimilar to the color of your dress. For example, if you are wearing a cream color dress, pick a deep blue color pashmina. Wearing pashmina in this way will make you more noticeable. It is a good idea while choosing a pashmina, go to a shop wearing the dress with which you want to wear pashmina and choose a color of the pashmina that is exactly opposite to your dress.

You can wear a pashmina in several ways. Below I have described a few common ways to wear the clothing:

The first style I would like to describe is the shrug style. You need a rubber band to wear pashmina in shrug style. Wrap the pashmina over your shoulder and pull the two free ends behind your back. Tie the two free ends with the help of rubber bands.

The second style of wearing pashmina is a folded style. Throw your pashmina around your neck and make a square like fold. Wearing in such way, you will have two free ends. Make a knot using two free ends and place the knot at one corner of your shoulder.

The third style is wrapping your body diagonally with a pashmina. What you need to do is wrap your body diagonally with your pashmina and tie the two free ends with a pin.

Now let’s know what the differences between pashmina cashmere are. The first difference is the term cashmere is used by westerners. Westerners use this term to describe a soft, cotton fabric which root is in Cashmere. Cashmere is a disputed region. It is located between India and Pakistan.

Pashmina is an indigenous word. Locals use the word which refers to the same soft fabric. The origin of the word pashmina is from pashm. Pashm refers to wool woven from a specific type of goat. Pashmina also refers to far better quality wool. The wool is used to manufacture scarves. The wool is also used to the made shawl.

The pashmina wool is extracted from Changthangi goats. During biting cold, when the temperature drops to below -35 °C, the goats develops a fine fiber over the outer layer of their fur. This fine fiber helps goat to combat against freezing cold temperature. When the temperature rises during spring, these fibers are harvested by the tribes living in the Himalayan region.

Pashmina clothing gets popularity across the world. Women love to wear clothing in different occasions like attending a wedding party or an evening party.
